About the Job

Position: Business Analyst
Location: Remote (Candidate must reside within a 2-hour radius of the Harrisburg, PA region)
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and the development team in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Create and manage user stories, tasks, and defects in Azure DevOps (or similar tools).
- Perform system testing, UAT support, regression testing, and validate application functionality.
- Support production applications by investigating and resolving customer-reported issues.
- Develop business, functional, user, and non-functional requirements documentation.
- Assist with user training, user guides, and other BA documentation.
- Participate in requirements workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support accessibility testing and documentation (WCAG 2.1 knowledge is a plus).

Required Skills:

- 2+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
- Experience supporting production applications and resolving customer issues.
- Experience conducting end-to-end system testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior Commonwealth of Pennsylvania experience.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
- Experience facilitating requirements workshops.
