About the Job

Role : Business Analyst with Life or P&C Insurance Domain Expert

Location : Erie, PA (Day 1 Complete Onsite)



Key Responsibilities
Engage with business, IT, and vendor teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and process flows
Support configuration of insurance business rules such as rating, underwriting, and policy rules
Document functional, UI, and product requirements using standard BA documentation methods
Understand insurance products being implemented and identify system capabilities and gaps
Support functional testing, defect analysis, and coordinate issue resolution with development teams
Assist business users during UAT, clarify requirements, and support test execution
Perform impact analysis for change requests and support estimation activities
Conduct walkthroughs of requirements, solutions, and configured features with stakeholders
Provide knowledge transfer and support to QA, development, and support teams
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Life or P&C Insurance domain
Hands-on experience with Policy Administration, Underwriting, Rating, Claims, and Reinsurance
Experience working with insurance systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or custom platforms)
Strong requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills

Requirement documentation: BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases
Tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, MS Excel
Methodologies: Agile / Scrum, Waterfall, SDLC
